Monday, 23rd November

Grulla Morioka 3-1 Fukushima United
Blaublitz Akita 2-2 SC Sagamihara
Nagano Parceiro 1-1 Machida Zelvia
Fujieda MYFC 2-3 YSCC
Gainare Tottori 2-2 Renofa Yamaguchi
FC Ryukyu 1-1 Kataller Toyama

What a last matchday this was in the 2nd season of J3, the scenario was this, Renofa & Zelvia were on the same points but Renofa with the massive goal difference were ahead of Zelvia, the fixtures were Gainare Tottori v Renofa Yamaguchi and Nagano Parceiro v Machida Zelvia, here is how things turned out:

2′ – It started off early with Gainare Tottori scoring against Renofa Yamaguchi, Naoto Ando with the goal
62′ – It was Gainare Tottori 1-1 Renofa Yamaguchi thanks to Kazuhito Kishida goal, still 0-0 between at this point in the Nagano Parceiro v Machida Zelvia game
64′ – 2 minutes later, news came in from Minami Nagano Stadium that Nagano took the lead against Zelvia thanks to a Yuki Sato goal
72′ – Fernandinho then got Tottori in the lead to make it Tottori 2-1 Renofa, but Renofa at this point would still win the league
74′ – But then a Zelvia goal at Nagano put Zelvia back in pole position of winning the league, Zelvia’s goal scorer was Koji Suzuki
FT – Nagano Parceiro 1-1 Machida Zelvia – Zelvia were waiting for the Renofa result, but this is where the heart break for Zelvia came
90′ +6′ – With the original 4 minutes of injury time already gone and in the 5th/6th minute – Kiyohiro Hirabayashi broke Zelvia hearts by scoring a equaliser against Tottori and sparked off jubilant scenes on the Renofa bench, Zelvia players thought they had done it but only for it to be ripped out of their hands at the last minute.
FT – Gainare Tottori 2-2 Renofa Yamaguchi

Zelvia have to pick their heads up and now have to play in the J2/J3 Play Off against 2nd bottom Oita Trinita from J2, here is the J2/J3 Play-Off looks:

1st Leg
